finally I'm in KL

Alhamdulillah, I reached KL yesterday after a long Terengganu-KL journey (8 hours of journey to be exact) together with Adik. I managed to drop by at Gua Musang to visit the in-laws in the afternoon. Thanks to Umi because she provide us lunch and I siap makan bertambah lagi okay!cayalah!!huhu Anyway Adik will stay here until this Sunday. yay!! That kid sister followed me because she wants to go to the KLBF2011 (Kuala Lumpur Book Fair 2011). The KLBF2011 is held at PWTC from 22nd April 2011 until this Sunday, 1st May 2011. The admission is FREE for all visitors and you can get the information of the book fair from here.

After two hours of rest, I went to the office, (I was working night shift) thumb print and brought Adik to A&W for dinner. sempat lagi tu kan..=p  then around 8.30 pm I send her home and reached office at 9 pm due to the traffic jam at the Federal Highway -_-"

I'm really thankful there is no event last night, so I can get enough sleep rest until morning and write this post :)

I have a long list of plans to do with my little sister. This afternoon I'll bring her to the KLBF2011 and maybe singgah Mid Valley to watch movies. I'm not sure what movie to catch, maybe Thor or Red Riding Hood. I'll update the reviews later okay. Have a good Friday everyone! =)

*I'm so excited Adik is around! She never been here before, none of my family members come to KL and stay with me before. Maybe it's quite lonely to stay alone in KL. Don't you think I should work at my own hometown?

Good day everyone! Let’s start our day with a smile =)

I woke up early today because I felt something hairy at my feet, and guess who? It was not ghost anyway, it was our home cat Kelabu lazing around my bed =)

Kelabu (definitely not a commercial name, I know. But my sister wants us to call her that name -___-) was born together with her two brothers, Oren and Itam. We called them according to their fur colours. These three kittens were raised up by our family from born until now. Their mother ran away from home after deliver them and became a fierce mother, she didn’t even wanted her children to get near her; I believe she followed her life partner because she wanted more freedom outside the house -_-"

I love Kelabu so much, she’s the cutest and pretty cool cat though. And she also acts like human when she sleeps, relaxing (lay her back to the wall) and act cute. We also love to hug her since she’s quite fat and looks like a very cute furball.  Obesity Cat! (she eats a lot okay!)

Mom's operation postponed

Today my mom supposed to undergo her second operation due to brain tumor. (the first surgery was done 2 years ago in 2008). We went to HUSM Kubang Kerian around 12 o'clock, and packed our clothes along in case Ma has to be admitted in ward. But as soon as we see the doctors in charge, they told us that chief doctor is having a seminar and he's not around this evening. They also need to double check everything and asked Ma to do CT Scan and eye test before the surgery because the tumor is growing very near to her eyes. So the operation is postponed to June this year -_-" 

I will go back to KL this thursday and cancel my leave on 1-5th May since the operation is postponed. God, I hate going back KL! The people there..uh.. Well, It's another story and it's quite personal, I won't talk about it here. My E-day

Alhamdulillah..The engagement ceremony went very well yesterday. It was like a dream to me. i dah rasmi jadi tunangan orang okay! yay! =p However, I'm very satisfied because I did everything at my own best effort. 

Hantaran: I made the gubahan myself

Mini pelamin: I asked my best friend Google to get some idea and combine them into one.
Make up: I hired a very good MUA* from a wedding boutique near my place. 

Makan-makan:  I handed it over to Ma cause she knows better (I cuma bagi duit je kat dia then she did the rest =p)

*term of the day: MUA stands for Make Up Artist.

I guess everyone must have expected to see some pictures right? It's unfortunate that I didn't have a camera or hired any photographer for this kenduri. xcukup save bajet la nie huhuhu =( The other pictures are mostly taken from other's camera. I'll upload them as soon as I get back to KL next week. So please be patient k =)

3,2,1 it's the final countdown ;)

After almost 2 years of relationship, I'm going to upgrade my status to the next level which is engagement. I don't really know how does it feel since this is the first ceremony in my family (FYI, I'm going to langkah bendul two sisters above me! jangan marah ye kakak2..=p)

Actually from the start, my bf's elder brother is the one who planned to get married. But the parents think that it would be easier to have the same kenduri sambut menantu since dua-dua anak bujang diorang dah gatai serious nak kahwin. In simple words, save budget lah plus to have two kenduris in one year, it would be very tiring kan?

So here we go, since the idea came up and my bf said why not? (better terima je time dia tengah semangat ajak tunang kan..kalau tak, menyesalll..hehe) then the plan become so serious, his parents started to contact my parents, discussing about merisik and engagement thingy. Alhamdulillah both sides agreed to unite two families into one. Meanwhile, I've already made some preparations, buy everything that we need for hantaran, booking mini pelamin and etc. (Thanks to my sister kak Dilah, she gives a big hand in whatever I need since I'm 600km away from home). InsyaAllah we would be having a simple engagement ceremony, and invite close relatives only. lagipun buat majlis bertunang je, bukannya kahwin..tak perlu grand sangat kan..=)

The ceremony will be held this saturday, 23rd April 2011 (2 days after our second anniversary) which means 3 days from today..! I have blending feelings in my heart right now..Nervous, excited, errr..cuak? Sape tak cuak kalau hantaran tak siap buat lagi! waaaaa helppp!!
