Sekinchan Ikan Bakar, Jalan Reko, Kajang

The three of us were extremely tired after a long day trip to Putrajaya. Before going back home, we dropped by Bangi for dinner. Out of our usual place, we decided to try Sekinchan Ikan Bakar at Jalan Reko, Kajang as we saw a lot of customers eating at the restaurant. As we entered Sekinchan’s, we were welcomed by the nice smell of ikan bakar floating in the air. The surrounding made me couldn’t wait to eat those ikan bakar.

Firstly we ordered nasi, ulam, sup and drinks, and then we went to the counter to pick the seafood (we need to choose ourselves so I picked ikan bawal, ikan kerapu and udang besar). There were varieties of fresh seafood provided such as ikan-ikan sungai and ikan laut, ketam, kerang, sotong and udang. We need to wait for 30 minutes as they grilled the fish for us.

After 30 minutes waiting, finally the dish are served to our table. Here they are:

Overall, I rate Sekinchan Ikan Bakar 4.5/5 for the food freshness and tastes. Isi ikan, rempah semuanya fresh, lembut dan sedap-sedap belaka! Thumbs up! Recommended places for those who get tired with usual food. Tengok la hasilnya selepas kitorang menyerbu ikan bakar tu. Licin..!!

BUT I would like to remind all of you to be extra careful when picking the seafood and don’t forget to look at the price tag, because there are certain types of the seafood that are very expensive. That incident already happened to us -__-
